	New report shows Immigration New Zealand meeting employer needs Wednesday, February 08, 2006 A new report from the Department of Labour shows that, overall, the Immigration Service met the majority of the needs of employers who hired skilled migrants between August 2003 and December 2004. Eighty-one percent of the employers reported they were satisfied with the migrants they had hired (i.e. rating the migrant’s performance on the job as ‘good’ or ‘very good’).
